About Us

We have always been passionate about art, food and making people happy. Jamaal had been a chef for years, working for various 5 star restaurants and catering companies in Los Angeles, CA. I was a makeup artist and aspiring writer, who loved to bake in my spare time.  We decided to put our talents to use, and thus The Carnival Food Truck was born. 

The idea behind the food truck was to bring fun back to the streets of Los Angeles by way of food. We had no idea that our business would grow from a food truck into a catering company that caters all sorts of events - from birthday parties and company picnics to corporate catering and weddings. 

Since The Carnival Food Truck's beginning in May 2015, we have catered many different events, and are more passionate than ever about our true goal... to be the most sought after catering service in the Los Angeles area, by offering unique, flexible menus,  and an overall unforgettable experience to those who need our services.

While we specialize in creative, custom catering menus, we find that most of our clients go for items we put together on our Sample Menu page. We offer wait and bar service as an added option.

Our food truck and commercial kitchen facilities makes it possible to cater to most of Los Angeles, Ventura County & surrounding cities. As an added precaution, our delivery drivers have warmers installed in their vehicles.
